MONTICELLO, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks ran into a tough road test Tuesday night, falling to the Monticello Billies 51-35.

Warren slipped to 4-14 overall and 3-6 in 8-4A Conference play with the loss.
Colton Steen got the Jacks off to a strong start, scoring the game’s first basket to give Warren a 2-0 lead. Monticello answered with an 11-point run to seize control late in the opening quarter and carried a 14-5 advantage after one.
The Lumberjacks battled in the second period. A three-pointer from Aceen Jurado and steady play from Bleyze Fellows and Zaylen Newton helped Warren trim the deficit to 24-16 at halftime.
Steen led Warren with 17 points and was active on the glass. Fellows and Zaydin Grider each finished with five points. Jurado and Angel Herron both connected from beyond the arc, with Herron’s three coming in the fourth quarter.
Monticello maintained separation in the second half to secure the win.
Warren will close out the 2026 regular season Thursday night at Lumberjack Arena against Hamburg. The Jacks currently sit fifth in the 8-4A Conference, behind Hamburg and ahead of Crossett, with one game remaining.
