Citywide Holy Week Services Scheduled Across Warren

WARREN, Ark. — Area churches are coming together to host a series of Holy Week services beginning March 29 and continuing through April 3, offering both nightly revival services and daytime gatherings for the community.

The Bradley County Ministerial Alliance will lead a week of services featuring multiple congregations and speakers, with events taking place at various churches throughout Warren.

The week begins Sunday, March 29, at 6:00 p.m. with “Last 40 Days of Easter,” an Easter production at Harmony Baptist Church.

Midday services will be held Monday through Thursday from noon to 1:00 p.m., each including a meal. The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, March 30 – First Free Will Baptist Church, with Bro. Henry Cox
  • Tuesday, March 31 – Immanuel Baptist Church, with Bro. Vernon Colvin
  • Wednesday, April 1 – Union Hill Baptist Church, with Bro. Jim Bales
  • Thursday, April 2 – First Baptist Church, with Bro. Brandon Massey

Good Friday services on April 3 will include two opportunities for worship. A noon service will be held at First Assembly of God with Bro. John Gaskin, followed by a 5:30 p.m. service at First Methodist Church with Bro. Dixon Platte. The SEARK Community Choir will also perform at 6:30 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to the daytime services, nightly revival services will be held at 7:00 p.m. across several churches in the city:

  • Monday – St. James African Methodist Episcopal, with Bishop Robert G. Rudolph
  • Tuesday – Power House Church of God in Christ, with Dr. Kurbe L. Newsom
  • Wednesday – Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist, with Elder Terry Correll
  • Thursday – Holy Deliverance Church of God in Christ, with Rev. Derrick Perry
  • Friday – Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist, with Rev. Henry D. Cox

Organizers invite the community to attend and take part in the week’s events as churches across Warren join together in observance of Holy Week.
