HERMITAGE, Ark. (3-31-26) — A fire that broke out around midday Tuesday, March 31, has destroyed the building of Farmville Missionary Baptist Church located north of Hermitage.
According to early reports, multiple fire departments, including Bradley Country Rural, Pleasantville, and Hermitage Volunteer Fire Departments, responded to the blaze, which fully engulfed the structure. The church, located approximately 5.5 miles north of Hermitage on Bradley Road 32, appears to be a total loss.
Fire crews remained on the scene as of 12:30 p.m., continuing to monitor and manage the situation.
At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown. No additional details have been released.
