Grant Named 4A Region 8 Coach of the Year After Historic Season for Lady Jacks

WARREN, Ark. — Warren High School girls basketball coach Mary Beth Grant has been named the 4A Region 8 Conference Coach of the Year following a dominant season for the Lady Jack basketball program.

Grant recently completed her second season leading the Warren Lady Jacks, guiding the team to one of the most successful campaigns in recent program history. Warren finished the year with a 27-3 overall record and went a perfect 10-0 in 8-4A conference play, capturing the 8-4A Conference Championship.

The Lady Jacks consistently controlled conference competition throughout the season, remaining unbeaten in league play and establishing themselves as one of the top teams in the region.

Grant took over the program just two seasons ago and has quickly helped elevate Warren to conference champion status while building a team known for disciplined play and strong defense.

The Coach of the Year honor recognizes Grant’s leadership during the Lady Jacks’ conference title run and their outstanding overall record during the 2025–26 season.

Warren’s undefeated conference mark and 27-win season marked a milestone year for the program as the Lady Jacks capped the season as 8-4A champions under Grant’s leadership.
