WARREN, Ark. – (3-11-26) — The Warren Lady Jacks softball team picked up its first victory of the season Tuesday with a 6-0 win over the McGehee Lady Owls.

Warren jumped out to an early lead, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning. The Lady Jacks added two more runs in the second inning to extend the lead to 4-0. Warren continued to build on its advantage with a run in the fourth inning and another in the fifth to secure the shutout victory.
The Lady Jacks’ offense was productive throughout the lineup, as every starter recorded at least one hit in the game. Bayleigh Miller led the way at the plate, going 2-for-3. Rayleigh Milton, Charlee Wardlaw, Natalie Hargrave, and Presley Reep each finished 2-for-4.
Haven Johnson, Ember Johnson, Brooklyn McVay, and Breize Fellows each added a hit, going 1-for-4.
In the circle, McVay delivered a strong performance for Warren, throwing a four-hit shutout while striking out three McGehee hitters.
