WARREN – The Warren Lady Jacks softball team picked up multiple strong performances at the plate in recent action, earning key wins while also facing tough competition ahead of conference play.

Warren bounced back from a loss to Vilonia with a 12-8 road victory over Malvern on March 16. Senior shortstop Ember Johnson led the Lady Jacks offensively, going 2-for-3 at the plate. Haven Johnson, Bayleigh Miller, and Brooklyne McVay each added two hits, while Natalie Hargrave, Breize Fellows, Addilee Murphy, and Rayleigh Milton contributed one hit apiece. McVay also went the distance in the circle, pitching all seven innings and striking out three to earn the win.

In another contest, the Woodlawn Lady Bears defeated Warren 9-3. The Lady Jacks briefly took control with three runs in the top of the fourth inning, but Woodlawn responded with five runs to regain the lead before adding four more to secure the win. Charlee Wardlaw led Warren at the plate, going 3-for-4, while Haven Johnson and Ember Johnson each finished 2-for-4. Ember Johnson also hit her second home run of the season. Rayleigh Milton and Addilee Murphy added hits, and Haven Johnson highlighted the defense with two standout catches.
Warren also faced 5A power Vilonia in a competitive matchup, falling 7-2. Ember Johnson again led the offense, going 2-for-3, while Rayleigh Milton added two hits. Bayleigh Miller and Addilee Murphy each went 1-for-2, and Haven Johnson and Charlee Wardlaw were 1-for-3.
The Lady Jacks delivered one of their most dominant performances of the stretch in a 14-3 win over Bismarck. Warren’s offense erupted for 21 hits, batting .600 as every starter recorded at least one hit. Ember Johnson went a perfect 3-for-3, while Rayleigh Milton and Breize Fellows each went 4-for-5. Bayleigh Fellows added three hits, and Haven Johnson, Presley Reep, and Charlee Wardlaw each finished 2-for-4. Addilee Murphy and Brooklyne McVay also contributed at the plate. In the circle, Brooklyne Murphy was dominant, allowing five hits while striking out nine and issuing no walks.
Warren also earned a 10-2 victory over Westside, with McVay picking up the win. The Lady Jacks recorded 10 hits in the game, led by Ember Johnson’s 3-for-3 performance. Natalie Hargrave, Breize Fellows, and Bayleigh Miller each went 1-for-2, while Haven Johnson, Rayleigh Milton, Charlee Wardlaw, and Miller added hits.
The Lady Jacks opened conference play Tuesday with a road trip to Star City.
