WARREN, Ark. – The Warren Fire Department responded to a house fire at the corner of South John C. Moss and Sturgis Streets around midday Tuesday, with crews arriving quickly and bringing the situation under control.
According to observations at the scene, the fire appeared to have started or been centered around a window air conditioning unit at the front of the home. The unit was actively in flames when Saline River News reporters arrived. While the fire did not appear to spread rapidly, there was visible smoke damage to the residence.

At least two Warren fire engines were on scene within the first 10 minutes of the incident. Firefighters worked swiftly to remove the air conditioning unit and secure the home, preventing further damage.
The residence is located just west of Calvary Baptist Church. No additional details, including the official cause of the fire or any injuries, were immediately available.
