Anonymous Threat Prompts Safety Measures at Warren High School

WARREN, Ark. (4-10-26) — The Warren School District reported around 11:30 a.m. Friday that it had received an anonymous call from an unknown individual claiming that a weapon was located in a bathroom at Warren High School.

According to the district, officials immediately contacted law enforcement and activated established safety and security protocols in response to the report. District leaders stated that all such threats are taken seriously, with the safety of students and staff remaining the top priority.

District officials and law enforcement personnel were on site and actively working to assess the situation and ensure the campus environment was safe. The district noted that safety procedures would remain in place until officials determine that conditions are secure for all students and staff.

At this time, the lockdown at Warren High School has been lifted. All students were screened through metal detectors, and the campus was thoroughly searched by appropriate personnel. No weapon was found.

The Warren School District is committed to maintaining a secure learning environment and will continue to take all necessary precautions in response to any potential concerns.
