ASP Seizes Over 1,300 Pounds of Illegal Edible Products During I‑40 Traffic Stop

VAN BUREN, Ark. – On Saturday, April 4, 2026, around 6:30 p.m., an Arkansas State Police (ASP) Trooper conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Interstate 40 near the 2‑mile marker in Crawford County.

Troopers searched the vehicle and discovered approximately 650 pounds of mushroom‑based edible gummies and 718 pounds of THC‑infused gummies.

The driver, who told investigators he was traveling from California to Georgia, was interviewed and released pending further investigation.

No arrest has been made at this time.
