KINGSLAND, Ark. – Kickstart Kingsland has officially announced the name of its upcoming music festival, revealing plans for the “Get Rhythm Music Festival,” a title inspired by one of Johnny Cash’s classic songs.
According to a recent social media post from the organization, the name was suggested by Paul Abeyta and selected as the winning entry. Organizers say the name reflects both the musical roots of the event and the spirit of the Kingsland community.
The festival is expected to serve as Kickstart Kingsland’s first major community event under its current leadership, with organizers emphasizing that local support will play a key role in its success.
As part of that effort, Kickstart Kingsland is encouraging residents to help grow its online presence. The group reported having 351 followers and set a goal of reaching 1,000 as fundraising efforts ramp up for the festival.
To help boost engagement, the organization is hosting a giveaway. Participants can enter by inviting friends to follow the Kickstart Kingsland page, liking and sharing the post, and commenting “DONE.” One participant will receive either a $25 gift card or $25 in cash.
Organizers noted that additional fundraisers are planned in the coming months, with proceeds supporting the development of the festival.
Kickstart Kingsland officials say the event is intended to bring the community together while creating something new for the area, adding that continued local involvement will be essential as planning moves forward.
