Lady Jacks Fall to Monticello After Big Innings by Lady Billies

The Lady Jacks traveled across the river to take on the always tough Lady Billies of Monticello.

Warren took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning.

Monticello came out swinging and took a 4-1 lead.

In the top of the 2nd, Warren got two base runners on but was unable to score.

Monticello was shut down in the bottom of the 2nd inning, which featured a circus catch by Warren’s center fielder Haven Johnson, robbing the Lady Billies of a home run.

Warren failed to score in the top of the 3rd.

Monticello added six runs in the bottom of the 3rd to take a 10-1 lead.

Monticello added a run in the bottom of the 4th inning to go up 11-1.

Monticello tacked on four runs in the bottom of the 6th inning.

The final score was 15-2.

Haven Johnson and Natalie Hargrave went 2-3. Raeleigh Milton, Bayleigh Miller, Charlee Wardlaw, and Presley Reep each went 1-3.

The Lady Jacks will travel to Hamburg on Friday.
