The Warren Lady Jacks faced off against conference foe Star City at home Thursday evening, April 16.

Warren jumped out to an early lead, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning to go up 3-0. The second inning was scoreless before Star City answered with two runs in the top of the third, cutting the lead to 3-2.
The Lady Jacks responded in the fourth inning, putting five runs on the board to extend their advantage to 8-2.
Warren added another run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Star City made a late push in the top of the seventh, scoring three runs, but the Lady Jacks held on to secure a 9-6 victory.
At the plate, Haven Johnson went 2-for-2. Raeleigh Milton and Bayleigh Miller each finished 3-for-4, while Breize Fellows was 1-for-2. Charlee Wardlaw and Brooklyne McVay both went 1-for-3, with McVay’s lone hit being a moonshot home run. Ember Johnson and Natalie Hargrave each went 1-for-4.
The Lady Jacks will travel to Cabot on Monday.
