Warren wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, as Daniel Garcia found the back of the net in the 6th minute with a close-range finish to give the Lumberjacks a 1-0 lead.

Crossett nearly answered in the 10th minute, breaking through on goal, but their striker pushed the shot wide left under pressure. Warren capitalized again in the 15th minute when a lofted ball from the right wing sailed over the Crossett keeper and was accidentally turned into the net by a defender for an own goal, making it 2-0.

Crossett responded in the 20th minute, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Moments later, Jacarlos Marquez nearly restored the two-goal cushion when he caught the keeper out of position, but his shot was cleared off the line by a Crossett center back.

In the 25th minute, Warren earned a penalty after a foul in the box. Marquez stepped up and calmly slotted a low left-footed shot home to make it 3-1.

Warren’s attack continued to apply pressure, with De’Sean Adams and Marquez combining effectively up top. In the 27th minute, Marquez broke through and finished with a low shot to the far post, extending the lead to 4-1.

Defensively, the Lumberjacks were solid, with George Pena standing out at left back.

Crossett managed to pull one back in the 40th minute following a miscommunication in the Warren defense, sending the teams into halftime with the Lumberjacks leading 6-2.

Crossett came out with renewed intensity in the second half, applying pressure early, but struggled to create clear chances, often leaving their striker isolated.

Marquez added to his standout performance in the 56th minute, firing a hard shot inside the near post to make it 7-2. With both teams rotating players, Crossett scored in the 65th minute to cut the lead to 7-3, and added another in the 70th minute to make it 7-4.

Warren responded by reintroducing several defensive starters to stabilize the back line. Later, offensive starters returned as well, and Marquez struck again with 10 minutes remaining to extend the lead to 8-4.

In the final minute, Marquez capped off his remarkable night with an impressive run down the right wing, beating both the defender and the keeper before poking the ball home for Warren’s ninth goal.

Warren improved to 5-2-4 on the season with the 9-4 victory.
