WARREN, Ark. (4-6-26) — A local community group is encouraging residents to get involved in a cleanup effort as part of a broader push tied to America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
In a recent social media post, the group “Re-New-ing Edinburg” announced plans to once again organize trash pickup efforts throughout the community. The initiative is part of the “Great American Cleanup,” a nationwide effort aimed at improving local environments and fostering community pride.
Organizers are inviting volunteers to participate, noting that those willing to help can receive trash bags and a T-shirt while supplies last.
The effort aligns with increased interest in beautification projects leading up to the United States’ semiquincentennial in 2026, with communities across the country taking part in similar initiatives.
Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to respond to the group’s post for more information.
