Tamale Fundraiser Set for April 17 to Support Mission Trip to Belize

WARREN, Ark. (4-2-26) — A local group is hosting a tamale fundraiser later this month to help send five young adults on a summer mission trip to Belize.

According to information shared by organizers, the fundraiser will take place on Friday, April 17, with tamales priced at $20 per dozen. The effort supports Aaron Barajas, Emma Barajas, Anna Mitchell, Maelie Cooke, and James Perry, who will be traveling with Pauline Baptist Church in Monticello.

Orders will be available for pickup between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. at 199 Hill Street in Warren. Organizers noted that the tamales will be pork.
