WARREN — Second-grade students from Warren Elementary School recently traveled to Little Rock to visit the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site as part of their study of the Civil Rights Movement.

The field trip provided students with an opportunity to experience firsthand one of the most significant locations in American civil rights history. By visiting the site, students were able to connect classroom lessons to real-world history, helping deepen their understanding of courage, equality, and perseverance.
According to a post shared by Warren Elementary School, the experience brought history to life for the students and enhanced their appreciation for the events and individuals who played a role in shaping the Civil Rights Movement.
