WARREN, Ark.- The Great Outdoors Youth Day will be held Saturday, May 16, at Bradley County Park in Warren.
The event is open to youth ages 5 to 14, and parents are also encouraged to attend. Youth under age 9 will be required to have a parent present.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the start of events at 9:30 a.m. A fishing derby is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., and participants are asked to bring their own fishing pole and catfish bait. Lunch will be served at noon.
The event will also include learning stations and a free lunch. Lunch is sponsored by L’Aigle Creek Conservation District.
The Great Outdoors Youth Day is sponsored by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service for Bradley, Dallas and Cleveland counties.
