Bradley County Medical Center is pleased to announce that Laboratory Director Leah McIntyre has been named the BCMC Employee of the Month for May.
McIntyre’s nomination stated: “I want to give a shoutout to Leah who has not only been tackling her analyzer changeover like a champ given various obstacles, but while doing so she is also making sure to give thanks and appreciation to her department during Lab Week. I love our lab folk, and they all are deserving of a nomination! Not only has Leah successfully tackled all of the above, but she has also continued to optimize the new EHR to make it better for lab, providers, and patients and not to mention her regular managerial duties. Through it all, she continues to be a constant cheerleader for her staff, always encouraging, supporting, and recognizing her team. Her positive attitude, leadership, and dedication to both her department and organization truly make her deserving of Employee of the Month.”
