Bradley County Medical Center will hold a mock mass casualty incident Friday, June 19, at 3 p.m. as part of its 2026 Mini-MASH Camp.
The simulated incident will take place on the lot north of the hospital, adjacent to Church Street. Hospital officials emphasized that the event is a training exercise only and not a real emergency.
Law enforcement, EMS, BCMC staff and Mini-MASH campers are expected to participate in the drill. The exercise is designed to provide educational and training opportunities for students and emergency personnel while helping participants better understand how agencies respond during a large-scale emergency situation.
BCMC officials said the hospital has conducted similar drills in past years as part of the Mini-MASH program, which stands for Medical Applications of Science for Health.
Community members who see emergency vehicles or activity near the hospital Friday afternoon should be aware that the incident is planned and simulated.
