WARREN, Ark. — The Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County is offering local student-athletes an opportunity to train and stay active during the AAA-mandated dead period for high school athletics.

Athletes from Warren and Hermitage who are 16 years old and older may sign in at the YMCA’s front desk to use the weight room from 8 a.m. until noon.

The YMCA will also make its basketball gym available to athletes in seventh through 12th grades. Gym access will be offered from noon until 2 p.m. and again from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.

The YMCA said it is excited to provide the space for area athletes during the dead period, when school-sponsored athletic activities are limited.

For more information or clarification, contact the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County Monday through Friday at 870-226-2404.
