WARREN, Ark. — Warren High School standout wide receiver Josiah Steen has announced his commitment to continue his football career at University of Central Arkansas.
Steen shared the news Tuesday through a social media post featuring UCA branding and the message, “Different jersey, Same mission,” signaling his decision to join the Bears football program after his high school career.
A key contributor for the Warren Lumberjacks, Steen has developed into one of the area’s most dynamic playmakers and has been a familiar name to Warren fans throughout his high school career. His commitment represents another milestone for both Steen and the Lumberjack football program.
The University of Central Arkansas competes at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level and is a member of the United Athletic Conference. The Bears have a long history of success and regularly recruit some of the top talent from across Arkansas and the surrounding region.
Steen’s commitment adds another South Arkansas athlete to the college football ranks and provides Warren fans an opportunity to continue following his career at the next level.
