The Warren Lumberjack cheerleading squad concluded four days of National Cheerleaders Association Cheer Camp with several team awards, superior evaluations and individual recognition.
Warren placed second in both the Band Chant and Game Day Cheer competitions. The squad also earned superior ratings in the Band Chant Evaluation and Game Day Cheer Evaluation.
Additional honors included the Technical Excellence Award for Spirit, the Most Improved Award from camp staff and a Stay Safe Award recognizing the squad’s performance and safety during stunts. The cheerleaders also received their third Spirit Stick of the camp.
Three Warren seniors — Blythe Callaway, Makensy Roberson and Raeleigh Milton — were invited to try out for the NCA staff.
The camp provided the cheerleaders with an opportunity to sharpen their skills, strengthen teamwork and prepare for the upcoming cheer season.
