The Bradley County Fair is asking the community to help decide who will take a turn in the dunk tank during this year’s fair.
As of Saturday afternoon, the current top three nominees are Marty Lee Wardlaw, Chase Cox and Ricky O’Neill.
Fair organizers are encouraging residents to continue submitting nominations and voting for their favorites. Participants may nominate one person at a time by commenting on the Bradley County-AR-Fair & Livestock Show Facebook post. Organizers are asking that people not nominate one of the current top three and instead vote for those nominees by liking their existing comments.
Potential dunk tank participants could include community leaders, coaches, teachers, first responders, local personalities, coworkers, friends or anyone else willing to take a splash for the fair.
The dunking booth will be open Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants will be able to purchase three balls for $5 for a chance to hit the target and send a nominee into the water.
All proceeds from the dunking booth will support the Bradley County Fair.
Nominations and voting remain underway as organizers look to fill the dunk tank lineup ahead of the September event.
