The Warren School District is reminding parents and guardians that students must meet Arkansas immunization requirements by September 25, 2026, or they could be sent home from school until they are in compliance.
In a student health notice, Warren School District Nurse Mahogany Tolefree-Lewis said families should make sure their children have received any required vaccines and provide the school with an up-to-date immunization record.
The district noted that appointment slots at the Bradley County Health Department are filling quickly as the deadline approaches. Families who are unable to secure an appointment locally before September 25 are encouraged to contact health departments in surrounding counties.
Appointments may also be available through the Warren School District’s school-based health clinic, Mainline, by calling 870-466-4987, extension 2200.
Parents or guardians whose children have already received the required vaccinations should provide the school with an updated shot record. Families using an Arkansas Immunization Exemption should submit an updated copy of the exemption letter. The district noted that exemptions must be renewed each school year.
Students who have not received required vaccines or otherwise provided the appropriate documentation by the September 25 deadline will be sent home until they are in compliance, according to the district notice.
Parents with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact their child’s school.
