Three crepe myrtle trees have been ordered to be placed around the courthouse. Volunteers have signed up to help plant and water them.

Nancy’s Boutique renovations have been completed with Nancy Weaver as owner. A new awning, painting, sign, lighting and window displays were done.

The bicycle art piece on Main Street has been returned and repaired. Special decorations were added to it for the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival.

Marsha’s Pasttime with Marsha Berry as owner has put in a new awning, painted the outside and remodeled the inside of the building on Cypress Street. It will be selling refurbished furniture and homemade pastries and pies.

Consideration was given to attracting more food trucks to the city.

A Make Warren Shine logo is being developed.

Flag banners purchased by Bradley County Chamber of Commerce have been put in place.

A watering schedule for downtown flowers is being worked out.

Volunteers are always welcome to join the group. Contact Balentine at 820-1636.

The next meeting will be at the YMCA at 10 a.m. June 14.
