Bradley County Veterans Museum to host Memorial Day Service at 11 a.m.

Bradley County Veterans Inc., will host a Memorial Day observance at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bradley County Veterans Museum.

Clifford Wayne Clayton, chairman of Bradley County Veterans Inc., will give the welcome and lead a moment of silence.

Prayer will be given by Floyd Brown.

Cathy Richardson Worley will sing the National Anthem.

The audience will participate in the Pledge of Allegiance and sing “God Bless America.”

Eddie Wayne Parnell Jr. will introduce the speaker, Retired U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Roger McClellan.

Cathy Worley will sing a patriotric medley.

“Taps” will be played to conclude the ceremony.

The purpose of the ceremony is to remember and honor the men and women who died defending the freedom we all enjoy.

Parking will be available at the YMCA parking lots. It is requested that the audience be seated by 10:55 a.m.
