Bobby Ray Williams, 1936-2021

Bobby Ray Williams, age 85, passed away on September 9, 2021 at his home in Warren, Arkansas. He was born in Hermitage, Arkansas on January 18, 1936 to John Henry and Annice Howsen Williams. Bobby graduated from Hermitage High School in 1953. After completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for 20 years and was stationed in various Air Force Base locations including Victorville, California; London, England; Nashville, Tennessee; Warner Robbins, Georgia; Jacksonville, Arkansas; Lajes Terceira, Portugal; and Belleville, Illinois. After 20 years of service to his country, he moved back to Warren, Arkansas and worked 20 years for the State of Arkansas Human Services Department. On May 30, 1957, he married Anita Stuard and they were happily married for 64 years until his death. They had two children and 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Bobby is survived by his wife Anita of Warren, Arkansas, son David Williams and wife Brenda of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and daughter Becky Howard and husband Ricky of New Edinburg, Arkansas. He is also survived by his sister Martha Bess Weaver of Warren, Arkansas. Preceding him in death were his parents John Henry and Annice Howsen Williams, brothers Henry D. Williams, and Billy Ray Williams, and grandson Quade Howard. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Warren, Arkansas. Funeral graveside services and burial 10:00 A.M Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bradley County, Arkansas with Bro. Randy Murphy.
