Bradley County Chamber of Commerce board members elected new board members at their monthly meeting on Monday at Bradley County Economic Development Corp.
Elected to three-year terms which begin in January 2023 were Denisa Pennington, Mary Julia Moore and Estephany Roman. James Wells was re-elected to another term.

A slate of proposed officers has been submitted to the board, with final election to be held at the Chamber’s annual meeting. No date has been set yet for the meeting but it was decided it will be held at the Warren and Saline River Railway Depot with Doug Thornton of The Redneck Gourmet catering it.
In other action:
- Vice Chairwoman-Special Events Julie Hamilton said 40 tents will be set up for Tent or Treat on Main Street from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 29. A pumpkin decorating contest will be included.
- Christmas events will be held on Dec. 10, starting with a parade at 5:30 p.m., Market On Main from 3-5:30 p.m. and Santa will be present at the former Martin’s Department Store lot.
- A motion was approved to purchase some Christmas decorations for the Martin’s lot.
- A motion was approved to purchase 250 cutting boards to be given as welcome gifts to Chamber members.
- The Chamber will host a watch party for the raising of the Bradley County Courthouse bell tower once it is ready for installation. No date has been set yet.
- The Chamber Executive Committee will consider a proposal to sell Boston pork butts as a Chamber fundraiser.
- Mayor Denisa Pennington signed a proclamation declaring Oct. 17-21 to be Chamber of Commerce Week in Warren.
