A tale of three Lions Clubs

District 7N Gov. Bill Johnson of Little Rock Founders Lions Club and Zone 1 Chairman Tim Kessler of Warren Lions Club visited Hampton Lions Club on Oct. 11.

While there, Hampton Lions President Carroll Dunn and his wife, Secretary Marty Dunn told them about a Hampton student who was in desperate need of eyecare.

Since Hampton does not have an eye doctor, Kessler put the Hampton club in contact with Dr. Bob Smalling, a Warren ophthalmologist, who works with the Warren club to provide eyecare for those who can’t afford it.

Through the efforts of these clubs, the needs of the student were able to be taken care of.

Anyone who is in need of eyecare and cannot afford it must fill out a questionnaire with the individual clubs deciding on approval. For further information, contact any Lions Club member.
