Terri Sutherland awarded BCMC Employee of the Month for February

Terri’s nomination mentioned how much she truly cares for her coworkers as she initiates departmental gifts for celebrations and times of sympathy. She also stays late and is willing to cover shifts as needed. Terri has a patient first mentality. She knows so many of our patients by name and is willing to go above and beyond to accommodate requests. Terri has a special gift communicating with our patients at the Human Development Center. She knows them by name and even has many of their “best veins” memorized. She can often calm nervous patients and avoid problems before they arise. Terri is willing to do whatever it takes to keep our chemistry analyzers running smoothly. Terri always comes to work prepared for the day. She maintains a clean and well organized work area and addresses any issues asap.
