Schedule of Warren’s Holy Week services announced

WARREN, Ark. – Local residents are gearing up for Holy Week services as the Easter holiday approaches. The Bradley County Ministerial Alliance has announced a series of services taking place next week, featuring local religious leaders from various denominations.

The Holy Week services will kick off on Monday, April 3rd at the First Freewill Baptist Church. Reverend Dixson Platt of the First Methodist Church will be the featured speaker for the day. The Wednesday service on April 5 will be held at the First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Richard Barley of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church as the guest speaker. The final service of the week will be on Friday, April 7 at the First Baptist Church. Reverend Vernon Colvin, III of the Lighthouse Church will deliver the message.

All services will begin at noon each day, followed by a meal served at 12:30 pm. The community is invited to attend and participate in these special Holy Week services.

In addition to the spiritual nourishment, attendees will also have the opportunity to contribute to the community by giving a love offering to support the Bradley County Ministerial Alliance’s community service initiatives. The alliance is committed to helping those in need and spreading love and kindness throughout the Warren community.
