PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Warren Lady Jacks traveled to Watson Chapel for their season finale Tuesday night, April 24, 2023, defeating the Lady Wildcats by the final of 19-2
The Lady Jacks jumped all over the Lady Wildcats in the top of the 1st inning. Paige Byrd led off with a walk and scored on Ember Johnson’s double. Johnson scored on Bracy Bickers’ single. Kaylie Henry followed with a single. Jolee Trussell walked to load the bases. Kaylee Nichols walked. Mattie West singled. Paige Byrd filled with a 2-RBI double. Ember Johnson emptied the bases with a double. Bracy Bickers’ RBI single scored Johnson. In the bottom of the inning, Watson Chapel got 2 runners on, but Ember Johnson struck out the next 2 batters to end the threat. Warren led after the 1st inning 9-0.

In the top of the 2nd, Jolee Trussell walked. Felicity Crockett then singled. Kaylee Nichols followed with a 2-RBI single. Mattie West singled. Paige Byrd’s sacrifice fly scored Nichols. The Lady Wildcats got a base runner on, but the Warren defense shut the Lady Cats down. Warren led 12-0.
Charlee Wardlaw led off the 3rd with a single. Bracy Bickers then walked to put 2 runners on for the Lady Jacks. Felicity Crockett’s single drove in Wardlaw. In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Warren shut down Watson Chapel 1-2-3. Warren increased their lead to 13-0.
Paige Byrd reached to lead off the 4th. Ember Johnson’s triple scored Byrd. Johnson scored on a passed ball by the catcher. Charlee Wardlaw doubled and scored on a passed ball. Kaylee Henry doubled and scored on a passed ball. Jolee Trussell and Felicity Crockett walked. Trussell and Crockett each scored. Watson Chapel added 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th.
The Lady Jacks came away with the 19-2 win.

Felicity Crockett had 2 singles, a walk, and scored 2 runs. Kaylee Nichols had a single, a walk, and scored 2 runs. Mattie West had 2 singles and scored a run.
For the Lady Jacks, Ember Johnson was the winning pitcher. She gave up 3 hits, walked 2, gave up 2 runs, and struck out 7.
