The Rotary Club of Warren met for its weekly meeting Tuesday, May 23 at First United Methodist Church. Rotarian and Assistant District Governor Carlton Davis presented the program, which was a recap of the District 6170 Assembly and Conference held May 19 and 20 in Hot Springs. Davis talked about how our district includes clubs over a large portion of the state ranging from Clarksville down to Pine Bluff to Hamburg across to Ashdown and De Queen. He said it was a great time catching up with Rotarians all over the state and mentioned seeing Leah Forrest Sexton, originally from Warren, who is a member of an Arkadelphia club. The assembly featured a number of speakers and allowed for Rotarians from District 6170 to share ideas. Additionally, the Rotary Club of Warren was recognized for being a 100% Foundation Giving Club with an average giving of $100 and 100% member participation in 2021-22. The Rotary Club of Warren also received recognition from the Rotary Foundation with the Every Rotarian, Every Year Club with $100 per capita and 100% member participation. Both award banners were presented to the Club President Dennen Cuthbertson. Davis ended the presentation by answering questions from Rotarians in attendance.
