NEW EDINBURG, Ark. – Plans have been finalized for the New Edinburg All School Reunion to be held at the New Edinburg Community Center on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Students, teachers, friends and families of the New Edinburg Community are encouraged to arrive prior to lunch, which will be served at noon, and visit plus reminisce with others of days gone by. Lunch meal tickets are $15.00 each and food will be provided by the Golden Girls Restaurant located in Warren of whose owners include Cathy Golden Rice, a New Edinburg High School alumni.
Meal tickets are NOT required to attend the reunion but are necessary if you wish to purchase a catered lunch. Tickets should be purchased prior to June 23.
Attendees are encouraged to invite other classmates plus contact teachers and extend a special invitation. Several wonderful teachers who taught at New Edinburg include Odell Wolfe, Nancy Vittitow, Paul Martin, Brice Clay, Travis Hopper, Cindi Morris, Barbara Moseley, Lorraine Taylor, Kay Childress plus many others who taught just prior to the school being merged with Kingsland in the mid 1980’s.
Meal tickets can be purchased by mailing a check payable to Re-New-ing Edinburg , the sponsoring organizer, and mailing to P. O. Box 24, New Edinburg, AR 71660. Please include your phone number with your check. Various class members and Re-New-ing Edinburg members will have tickets available locally plus check the Re-New-ing Edinburg Facebook for additional information.
