Bradley County woman remains missing over a year later

BANKS, Ark. – It has been over a year since Martha Ann Bradford, a woman from Bradley County, mysteriously disappeared from her home in the Blue Springs community near Banks. Despite extensive efforts by authorities and her family, there are still no leads or answers regarding her whereabouts. Today, on June 20, 2023, we reflect on the continued search for Martha Bradford and the desperate plea for information from the community.

Martha Bradford, born on December 3, 1969, was last seen on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Saline River Chronicle initially reported her disappearance, revealing that she was last spotted in the late afternoon after leaving her residence on foot. Witnesses described her attire as a red t-shirt paired with jeans or shorts.

Daughter Kristin Harris provided heartbreaking details, stating that Martha left without taking any personal belongings, including her cherished dog, which she always kept by her side. Concerned for her mother’s well-being, Harris and her family contacted the Bradley County Sheriff’s Department shortly before 10:00 p.m. that evening.

In response to the call, local authorities initiated an immediate search effort, combing through the area for several days. However, their efforts yielded no substantial clues to Martha Bradford’s disappearance, leaving her family and the community perplexed and deeply concerned.

Never Forgotten, an organization dedicated to locating missing persons, has provided information to assist in identifying Martha Bradford. She is 53 years old, standing at a height of 5’2″. She has brown hair, green eyes, and weighs approximately 140 pounds.
