Betty Mae Clark Roe Douthit

Betty Mae Clark Roe Douthit a crossed over into heaven Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 at JRMC in Pine Bluff, AR. Dear friends, at last I am home in heaven, not only with God but mom and dad (Mutt and Louis Clark) brothers MV, Shelton and Jimmy Clark, and grandson Michael Wilson. To those I leave behind, my husband Hershel Douthit, children Cathy and BJ Wilson, Carolyn and Bruce Baskins, Terri and Ray Burt.  Also, Tere Batt, Gordan, Clyde and Wade Douthit.  Grandchildren Chris, Justin, Rae’ Ann, Tracey, Stephanie and Nigel. Great grandchildren Lauren, Bently, Taegan Mae, Hudson, Lincoln, Mae’lei, Sarah, Joey and Wynter.  A host of other family members that I love. I pray I was a strong woman of God and someday you will take this same heavenly Journey. When you cross over come looking for me, my worldly body will still be here, but my soul is with Jesus. Betty was a registered nurse for 76 years and worked with the Red Cross, she served in the 9.11 attach in New York and hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Betty loved to do her Mini Pearl impersonations making many people smile.  Pallbearers will be Morgan Hankins, Chris Wilson, Tracey Wirges and Nigull Wirges, Dakota Daulton and Justin Byrd.  Graveside service was 10:00AM Friday, August 4th at Oakland Cemetery.  Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
