Upcoming events were planned during Monday’s Bradley County Chamber of Commerce board meeting at Bradley County Economic Development Corp.
Treasurer Jane Harris gave the financial report, showing total current assets at $18,644.72 and fixed assets at $47,751.99. She noted the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival had reimbursed the Chamber for $600 in insurance. Chairman Ron St. John said the Chamber will pay for the plaque presented to the Bradley County Farm Family of the Year.

Special Events Chairwoman Julie Hamilton said the Fall Festival will be held at the fairgrounds on Oct. 28. Market On Main will be held at the same time at that location. Food trucks won’t be present as several organizations will be giving away free food.
On Dec. 9, a Christmas celebration will be held. The parade will be held at 5:30 p.m. that day.
A thank you card was presented from the Daughters of the American Revolution for a gift of a cookbook and cutting board for its Christmas In July event.
A Warren Elementary School ribbon-cuttting sponsored by the Chamber will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
St. John said he will set up a nominating committee to consider recommendations for new officers who will take office in January 2024.
