WARREN, Ark. – Daniel(Danny) Ray Cook, a former heating and air specialist from Warren, plead guilty in the Circuit Court of Bradley County Monday, August 21, 2023 to two separate class D felony counts of theft of property valued between $1,000-$5,000. Judge Quincey Ross sentenced Cook to four-years supervised probation and a fine of $1,000 for each count.
The charges against Cook stemmed from two separate incidents, one involving the alleged theft of property belonging to Dr. Donnie Bryant, and the other concerning property belonging to Gannaway Drug Store. According to the criminal information filed by prosecutors, the theft from Dr. Donnie Bryant occurred between July 22-24, 2022, while the incident involving Gannaway Drug Store took place on or about July 27-28, 2022.
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney David Harrod led the prosecution’s case against Cook, while the defendant was represented by Attorney Robert S. Bridewell.
Cook will serve his sentence concurrently.
Cook was arrested by the Warren Police Department last August when a warrant was issued in regards to both incidents.
