Public invited to attend Tuesday bell tower dedication

WARREN, Ark. – In a momentous event for Bradley County, Judge Klay McKinney has officially announced the dedication ceremony for the newly renovated Bradley County Courthouse Bell Tower. The ceremony is scheduled to take place in front of the courthouse at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

This significant occasion will be graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including representatives from the Arkansas State Historic Preservation, the Courthouse Bell Tower Architect, as well as numerous local officials from Bradley County. The short ceremony, estimated to last approximately 10 minutes, promises to be a poignant and historic moment for the community.

The renovation project, which has been in the works for nearly two years, saw the installation of a new cupola and dome in December 2022. The task was expertly handled by the skilled crews from Diversified Construction and Design in El Dorado. This labor-intensive project initially kicked off in January 2022, marking the beginning of an extensive effort to revitalize the iconic Bradley County Courthouse Bell Tower.
