35th Annual Buck Fever Festival this Weekend

Banks, Ark — As the leaves change, hunters descend upon Banks for our favorite time of the year. On Saturday, November 13th, our vendor market will open at 10:00 am selling a variety of items including wooden artwork, welcome signs, home decor, antiques, custom t-shirts, flannel shirts, jewelry, epoxy cups, and sublimation cups. Sweet and salty items will be available including homemade cookies, chocolate treats, pork rinds, and kettle corn. While the adults are shopping, kids will enjoy our Kids’ Corner featuring inflatables, various games and activities; armbands will be available for $5.

At noon, join us on Main Street and see participants compete in the annual parade for best ATV, tractor, classic car, antique car, male horse rider, female horse rider, best bicycle, and best float. The best overall entry will receive a $150 cash prize with individual cash prizes for each category. Also see contestants compete in the Buck Fever Parade Pageant and Cutest Dog Contest. Our annual catfish dinner, which raises funds for the city’s fire department, is from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The second evening of pageants will begin at 6:30 pm and conclude with an awards ceremony for all the day’s competitions.

The Baggo tournament will begin at 8:00 pm with a $250 prize for the winning team. Tilluride, a country music Texas band with rock roots, will hit the stage at 8:00 pm.

Raffle tickets will be available for a chance to win a commemorative camouflage quilt or a GATR 70 cooler. Visit our information booth to purchase these or our 35th anniversary shirt.

The Buck Fever Festival Committee is thankful for our sponsors, including our Grand Sponsor, Bradley County Medical Center! We appreciate all of our community support and look forward to celebrating our 35th year.
