Congratulations to Christie Avery Jones of Cura Hospitality (BCMC’s Dietary Department) for winning the November Employee of the Month award.
Christie’s nomination stated: Christie is a very hard worker. Since the manager has been out, she has really gone above and beyond to help me keep this department running. Christie does whatever you ask even if she’s tired and has other things to do. Christie will work other shifts to keep the department covered. She put own needs on hold so that she could be a helping hand for me when others would not step up. She deserves more than I can give. I have watched this person step up and go above and beyond in the manager’s lengthy absence. She has soaked everything in like a sponge and is doing an amazing job in her department. She works very hard to ensure things run as smoothly and properly as they would if her manager were there. She has maintained a positive attitude the whole time and hasn’t missed a beat. She has been a wonderful leader during this time!
