On Thursday, December 14, 2023 the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) has revealed the updated high school football conference assignments for the upcoming 2024-2026 seasons, bringing with it a wave of changes and new dynamics for teams across the state.
The 8-4A Conference, which has been a hotbed for thrilling high school football action, will experience just one notable transformation. McGehee, a familiar presence in the conference from the Arkansas Delta, will bid farewell and transition to the 8-3A Conference, dropping down in classification.
