The Rotary Club of Warren met for its weekly meeting Tuesday, Feb. 6 inside First Methodist Church. The group heard from Junior Rotarian Avery Langford to begin the program. Langford made a short speech before performing a song on the guitar with vocals which really impressed the crowd. Then Rotary President Dennen Cuthbertson made a short presentation about his role as Community Champion for Bradley County Medical Center through the DRCHSD Grant. Cuthbertson attended a week-long workshop in Baton Rouge, Louisiana last week and is getting ready for the Community Connect Event scheduled Monday, Feb. 12 at the Train Depot from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cuthbertson invited the club members and fielded a few questions.
