1st quarter
In a sluggish start to the game, both the Warren and the Star City struggled offensively. Star City managed to seize an early lead, while Warren faced difficulty finding their rhythm in shooting. Warren worked themselves into several good looks, but couldn’t get the shots to fall. Livi McKinney managed to put the Lady Jacks on the scoreboard with a shot from the paint at the 3:06 mark. Nevertheless, Star City dominated the quarter, ending with a commanding lead of 16-2.
2nd quarter
Breize Fellows provided a glimmer of hope for Warren, sinking a baseline jumper with 5:49 left in the first half. Bayleigh Miller added to the scoring, knocking in a shot off the backboard shortly after. However, Star City maintained control of the game, heading into halftime with a substantial lead of 27-6.
3rd quarter
Livi McKinney and Bayleigh Miller joined forces to chip away at Warren’s deficit, contributing a combined 15 points during the quarter.
4th quarter
Despite a late surge, with Aaliyah Walton scoring from a layup and McKinney and Fellows adding baskets of their own, Warren couldn’t close the gap, ultimately falling to Star City with a final score of 50-30.
