As the first half drew to a close, Anna Arroyo further compounded Lisa Academy’s misery, burying a low shot into the far corner in the 44th minute, leaving the Jaguars trailing 4-0 at halftime.

The second half witnessed no respite for Lisa Academy as Delaney Herring and Azul Garcia added to the scoreline in the 56th and 60th minutes respectively, with Aria Hunt and Herring once again finding the net in quick succession to make it 8-0 in favor of the Lady Jacks by the 68th minute mark.

Following the final whistle, Head Coach Jacob Hernandez expressed his elation at his team’s dominant performance. “I’m super happy and proud of my team’s performance,” said Hernandez. “All preseason we had been working on a more attacking and pressing style of soccer, and seeing it come to fruition tonight was amazing. We still have stuff to straighten out but tonight was just the beginning for the Lady Jacks.”
