The game was an offensive struggle for both teams as Warren (5-3) was only able to generate one hit, while the Badgers (7-3) recorded four. Both teams left seven runners on base.

Beebe opened the scoring in the third inning with a lone run but added three more in the top of the fourth to take a 4-0 advantage. However, the Lumberjacks struck back with an RBI by Ervin Rivera in the bottom of the fourth to make the score 4-1.

Neither team could get much going the rest of the way as the game finished with a score of 4-1 as Beebe clinched the win.

Kolby Pope went five innings on the mound and allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits with five strikeouts and seven walks. Ren Reep and Nathan Spears combined to throw a scoreless inning on the bump. Pope registered Warren’s only hit of the contest, while Jackson Denton scored the only run when Rivera drove him in. Spears reached base twice on walks.

The Lumberjacks continue play in the Robinson Invitational with a doubleheader on Friday, March 22. The Orange and Black are scheduled to take on Gentry at 9 a.m. and Searcy at 11:15 a.m. at Little Rock Christian High School to round out the tournament.
