HAMPTON, Ark. – The Lady Hermits Softball team showcased their grit and determination in the recent Regional Tournament, navigating through intense matchups and setting their sights on the upcoming 1A State Tournament. The tournament, held on May 3-4 in Hampton, Arkansas, brought thrilling moments and hard-fought battles for the Lady Hermits.

In Round 1 of the Regional Tournament, the Lady Hermits faced off against Mineral Springs in a high-stakes clash. They emerged victorious with a 9-7 win, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience.

Moving into Round 2, the competition intensified as the Lady Hermits squared off against Bradley. Despite their valiant efforts, they faced a tough challenge and fell short, setting up a determined push in the consolation game.

In the battle for third and fourth place, the Lady Hermits engaged in a close contest against Hampton. The game was a display of skill and determination from both sides, with the Lady Hermits fighting hard until the final moments. Looking ahead, the Lady Hermits are gearing up for the 1A State Tournament, where they will face Midland in Round 1.
