MONTICELLO, Ark. – Mainline Health Systems, Inc. (MHSI) has recently partnered with the Arkansas Oral Health Coalition to become a Diamond State Smiles Club provider in Southeast, Arkansas. The Diamond State Smiles Club is a project hosted by the Arkansas Oral Health Coalition designed to make going to the dentist a more rewarding experience. Children who visit a dentist twice (for regular check-ups) between March 1, 2024, and February 28, 2025, will be entered into a prize drawing. Prizes will include bicycles and athletic shoes. One lucky family will win the grand prize, a weekend stay at an Arkansas State Park. This program is available for ALL students at our School-Based Dental locations at Warren, Star City, Lakeside, and Dermott School Districts.
Dental Director, Terri Eubanks, DDS, stresses the importance of routine dental screenings starting at a young age. She says, “Tooth decay remains the most prevalent chronic illness of both children and adults, yet it is 100% preventable with routine dental care and good oral hygiene.” Mainline Health is hopeful that this program will help improve the prevalence of tooth decay in Southeast Arkansas while raising awareness about the importance of good oral hygiene for children.
How to get started:
Schedule your child’s routine dental exam. Once they’ve had their screening, you must fill out a consent form to be enrolled in the program. Your child MUST have TWO (2) screenings by February 28th, 2025, to be entered to win the grand prize. Each screening earns your child a chance to win a prize.
