The Rotary Club of Warren met for its weekly meeting Tuesday, May 7 at First Methodist Church. The crowd heard a very interesting and informative program from the owners of South Arkansas Pet Cremations Jason and Elizabeth Britton. They were introduced by Rotarian Andrew Tolbert and talked about their new business, which is located at 1336 W Central Street in Warren. The pair talked about pet cremations in general, certifications they have, and laws they have to abide by before going into more specifically what they can do. They can take pets up to 300 pounds and while they have done mostly dogs and cats they can do guinea pigs, hamsters, and other traditional pets. The Brittons mentioned they view it as a funeral home for pets so there are memorial options that can be purchased along with an obituary with a guest book available on their website. You can also buy caskets for burial. They also touched on some of the business they have already done and have had customers from all over South Arkansas along with a couple from surrounding states. They are available 24/7 for pet removals and will travel. The group of Rotarians present had a large number of questions answered by the Brittons to conclude the program.
