LITTLE ROCK — Mark your outdoor days with the Arkansas Wildlife calendar! The 40th edition will be published July 1, but it’s not too late to get a copy for your kitchen, office, garage or business.
If you order a subscription to Arkansas Wildlife magazine (the calendar is the July-August issue) by July 15, the 2024-25 calendar will be included. The calendar spans 13 months (July 2024-July 2025).
The award-winning calendar includes sunrise and sunset times for every day of the year, full and new moons, hunting seasons, meteor showers, federal and state holidays, and many other events and special days that are of interest to people who enjoy the outdoors.
All that information is punctuated by amazing photographs of Arkansas wildlife by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission photographer Mike Wintroath. This edition, for instance, features an alligator, a pintail, a summer tanager and other birds, mammals and fish, all photographed in The Natural State.
An annual subscription to the magazine includes five bimonthly issues and the calendar. The 36-page issues (with no advertising) cover news about the AGFC not found anywhere else, as well as articles about hunting, fishing, conservation and other outdoor pursuits. A one-year subscription costs $12 and a two-year subscription is $20, but the best deal is three years for $25. Subscribe today at www.arkansaswildlife.com.
